Tuning car problem

Hi, first post and an immediate question, today I started the tuning competition in the professional events category. I did the capri rally a few times for the 250.000 credits, and then after some hesitation i bought the Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04 I tuned it up to about 900 hp (could be less) and I started the cup, WITHOUT testing the car (I can be impatient sometimes) and what came to me is that the car's rear weels are continously struggling to get some grip when accelerating. I don't know wich tires are on there cause i left em standard (I think they're soft tires). So my question is: what can i do to get more grip? :nervous:

Carbon R is a D1GP car, its petty much only good for Drifting.

With MASSIVE tuning it could be used for some races, but generally D1GP cars are good only for Drifting.

i no what you mean, the only for it is to sell it and get a mines skyline if you want a good tuner car. i have the same problem with my 1084bhp nissan skyline concept lm race car, the car has 7 gears but still, the wheels spin till 4th gear, but it still does 0-60 in 3 seconds! The is no real way to stop wheel spin because nothing will help it! (not even softer tires, believe me, ive tried it with this car!)

well, I managed to win the championship and win the NISSAN OPTION Stream Z '04 so I'll go for all gold in the championship with this car yet it's a shame that I spent this much credits on a worthless car. (worthless to me that is)

Forgett the Option Z Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much turbo Lag.

Save Up some Bucks, Get a Used Skyline (Or RX-7, anything sweet in Used car lot 2, it will be cheep enough for you to Buy and Mod up with little cash) I got things started with a R32 GT-R (91 GT-R N1's are pretty quick) And the car can be used in a few diferent races.

Or get a fully upgraded Cuda and have fun bumping those 900kg S2000:s out of the track... :D

Use the Buick Special, very fun to drive as it comes, and surprisingly fast around a track! And a piece of advice; don´t overpower your cars! Driveability is far more important than speed. Sure a car should be quick to be compititive, but cornering abilities is the way to go if you want a fast lap. Instead of giving the car a ridiculous amount of hp, buy a suspension kit and a gearbox.
