Use TankSpanker's settings. The one at the top is the default.

I don't have any settings for the Audi A4, you'll want to use the search function for that. It is at the top of the screen, just below "Remove these ads and get more features with GTPremium!".

Also, before asking for more settings, you will want to check http://www.gtvault.com. They have a huge amount of settings. 👍

What exactly are the "issues" that need tuning?

Ahh just a it more speed needed and better handling really are the main issues
Increased speed:
Depends on the track. I always startout dropping within 10-15 from the lowest height setting if too low in doesn't want to turn. On Test Track I lower to the ground and reduce downforce to lowest setting, Lowering all the way reduces handling so I wouldn't suggest on high speed technical tracks like Nurb, or LeSarthe but these 2 need softer springs and shocks around 1.0 or 1.5 off of springs and 7/7 or 6/6 front and rear and you need downforce so default or highest.
Better handling:
Also track dependant. I always start with Camber 2.5 1.5. If the car oversteers lower rear springs, if it understeers lower front springs and lower front ride height. You really have to just play with these until you get them right. Increase downforce.
LSD depending on the default I increase initial to 20, and deceleration down to a max of 15. This drive style dependant. I like the rear loose entering a curve and strong turning coming out.

Just a typical starting point for all cars. If you notice the settings aren't very specific. But a general starting point. If you tell me your "specific issues" with the A4's handling that you do not like I can be more specific.

Lower ride height 15 from lowest setting, Camber 2.5, 1.5, shocks 7/7, 7/7, Lower front springs by 1.5, LSD 20/40/15, Max out downforce. Try these and let me know. There are some good general tuning guides stickied to the top of teh settings and tunings board, but I'll be glad to help with specifics. Remember the suspension settings are track specific. Rough tracks need softer springs and shocks, and smooth tracks need stiffer (default) springs and shocks. For better acceleration reduce auto 1 click at a time until it feels good. This will reduce your top end so be careful.

Much as I respect jparker's valiant attempt to help you out, you really do need to be slightly more specific when you're asking for help.

I mean, I'd like all my cars to go faster and turn better, but you'll never be able to correct any problems until you can identify what the problems are.

Those are GT3 set-ups though - and I wouldnt have thought they'd necessarily apply to GT4 :  :boggled:

They are, but in most cases, they do very well. Whenever I need settings for a car that needs a setup, I look there, use the settings, and the car performs a lot better.

👍 I'll give it a try - I know they helped me in GT3. :dopey:
