This car is utter junk, unless you like to do 400m and 1000m runs. Nobody has ever made this car handle well. Even when you do have the rare chance of beating the competition with it, it's still no fun to drive. You can get a good bit of speed out of it (I've achieved 281mph with a nice draft); but even around the Test Course, it still steers like an aircraft carrier.

You wont believe it. Ok, here it is:

I was bored out of my skull yesterday, cuz I just finished GT500 and GT300 + 2 hrs trial mountain race. Took all day, but I was still bored, and playin GT. I went and won a drag R33 by accident! Seeing as it sucked, I decided to tune it. I actually got it to wheel spin and turn so that it drifted. Pretty crazy stuff. But I think it was fluke settings.

I don't really like the drags, they dont' turn!

And the paint was still wet when they broke the speed record (that would explain the terrible paint job)...either that or the guys in the workshop got in a 70's revival mood...

I know this thread is old, but, when i got my drags, i used them well in races with alot of straight roads, but to turn, i used the EMERGENGY BRAKE while pointing the D-pad in the Direction i want it to go, it turned at i think a 45* to a 70 * angle. Even though they have good HP, their accelleration sucks and they are kinda slow for a high HP car, so arena's like TAHITI ROAD, SEATTLE CIRCUIT (maybe), and some other races are good for the drags to be in. Thank you for ur time.

i made the 180sx drag turn. i used the following setup.

ride height at it lowest
camber: 2.0 front, 1.2 rear
auto setting maximum
tyres: soft

and for those that doubt the HKS R33 exists in real life...

I once saw a picture of the HKS R33 from the front. Pictured below is a SIMILAR HKS R33 (not the same one)...

And for the Drag 180SX...

Still doubting? Do this a few times... :banghead:

The drags suck. Yep sure they have a nice speed but they reach their max speed to easy. The don't turn. That was one of my best forms of GT Cash

The HKS R33 drag is an utter ****heap....turns like an 18-wheeler and too much wheelspin, i did try tuning the settigns but i irritated me so much i sold it.....and the paintjob looks liek something you throw up after 10 pints........:yuck:
