one thing I've noticed is it seems no one is complaining about having camber etc. settings for cars with fixed rear axles, like most muscle cars and no doubt hundreds of others. Obviously in real life you cant do anything to adjust toe, caster or camber when the axles are in a fixed housing, yet we have these adjustments in the game and they apparently have an effect.
My question is has anyone found a car that works best with the rear set zero, zero, zero like it should?

The way the game works from what I have tested it that camber only generally shows positive gains with stiff suspension setups. Tuning a car to the soft side on spring rate generally negates the use of camber in the game, but can be equally as fast depending on track. Don't try too hard to compare the game to the realities of car racing; Kaz has been sipping a little too much on the bottle to make some of the claims he does.

I'm not positive of the technicality if a 'fixed' axle, but I know that solid axle rears can obtain camber, with specially designed splines that are rounded.
And when purchasing a $20,000 fully custom LSD, I just assume those axles are included :D

surely you jest that GT5/Kaz might have some inconsistancies with reality...next you'll tell me the '00 SS Camaro did come with a 4 cyl. engine and the LMS car as well. Or that racing exhaust systems are supposed to make gnarly V-8's sound like a 1 liter v-6 with a potatoe in the exhaust

well, until I see something official, I'm going with the 'it dont exist' and it sure is not in common use in race cars or the like

It commonly exits in Nascar. I'm not sure how much more of a common race car there is.
