Earlier I was tuning my viper acr. I made two tunes, a second gear launch and a first gear launch , the second gear launch tune has the top speed in the top right says 177 and the first gear launch tune has the top speed at 225. My question is why does the tune with the speed at 225 have a faster 0-60 but a slower top end and the other one has a slower 0-60 but a way better top end? Wouldn't it be the other way around?

Gear placement man. Depends how your gears are placed and how they can or can't cope.

Could I suggest uploading a picture of both line graphs from the transmission section of settings? This way we can have a better look

It should look like this:

If you don't shift (and you don't from 0-60mph), then a first gear launcher has always a slight advantage in the starting gear.
You might already have noticed that the ACR bogs less in first gear and therefore you can set first gear ratio longer compared to the max. possible ratio for a second gear. But it's probably not just that, I guess there's also a reduced time for the shift from N to 1 (instead N to 2; or N to 1 to 2) or the reaction of the clutch.

:)
