Tuning Sliders Glitch "is not just a visual issue!"

Hey folks.., just wanted to give a heads up to this issue. You may or may not have to go back in and redo a few of your tunes.

The "visual" glitch with the sliders is not just a visual glitch. There is a glitch that will change your settings (equally) across the board.

I was tuning one of my vehicles tonight and this glitch was very obvious. At default all of my dampers were set to the lowest setting. I did some basic tweaking and tightened up the springs and sway bars (I did not make any changes to the dampers).

After going in and out on track testing different settings.., I scrolled over to the dampers menu. Strangely "all" of the dampers had a "visual" reading of the sliders being at the lowest setting.., but the numerical setting was dead center for all the dampers. All of those settings should have been at the lowest. So now curious I just scrolled down to highlight each part of the damper settings and all the sliders snapped dead center to reflect the numerical value shown.

Now keep in mind.., I made NO changes to the dampers at all. Just to see if it was a visual issue I went to track with those settings and BAM.., car was all over the place.

Sorry to say it folks.., but there does appear to be an issue with random settings being changed by a glitch in the game.

Double check your settings.., you may have to redo a few. I had to go back and redo several of my vehicles due to this.

To the mods.., this is not a rant! This post is to inform others that they might need to go back and change some of their settings within the vehicle tuning. Again.., it's not a rant.., but to INFORM others.

I'll double check that. I have this usually happen with my gear ratios. I should be able to tell from the telemetry screen if they are different. Thanks for the heads up.

You're welcome :) I thought I was losing my mind tonight when tuning vehicles. It was just strange how I'd make a minute change to one area., but when back on track to test the tune, the vehicles performance in no way reflected that minor change. I found out that my tunes were being randomly changed by this glitch.

Actually, for me usually what happens is the numerical reading is correct, but the visual reading is always on the very left. So it may be a different bug?

I've run into the issue where the sliders were to the far left.., but the value was where I set it.., but yeah this tuning glitch just may be a new one all together.

This time all the sliders were to the left., but the values were not set by me :scared: The glitch made "equal settings" across the board within the dampers on its own.

Sliders are horrible. I prefer GT5s method of selecting units where you have to select the unit rather than move to it. Makes it a lot more certain as you have to "lock it in"
Another thing with sliders is in the visual editor, sometimes colour settings can change from the unit of five to one less. Eg 15 to 14. It really changes the colour of the paint. Especially in the livery editor where you want things to match.
