Tuning the 300C

What kind of tuning do I need to properly control the 300C. This car can't turn properly even when I brake to hit a sharp turn.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

That's funny, i found the 300c turns in & manuvers alot better than i expected (considering its heavy weight and large stature). A lot less understeer and fishtailing than i expected. What level of racing are you at? Are you trying to finish a race series, or just doing time trials? How much power are you using? i'm just curious.

I just found the 300c needs some earlyish, heavy/firm braking before tight corners...and this way you avoid any mid-corner understeer. And since it's RWD with fatter tires in the rear, you can hit the gas early. Hmmm. Anyways, i'm curious.

There is a lot of fish tailing in the 300C, I'm almost quite positive it has a light butt just like a Ute, so handling characteristics are similar. I just tuned a 300C, be on the lookoutfor it at Aussie Tuners some day.

Perhaps with full Stage 3 tuning there is alot of fishtailing, i dont know yet. I haven't driven a 300C with more than stage 2 personally, and at this level i found it still has plenty of control, yet the abililty to "step out" can be commanded at will, too. :)
