Tuning to improve tire wear?

I am testing for Le Mans and can run 6 full laps on a set of tires. Clean laps. Little wheel spin. Fronts 1/4 worn...rears 3/4 worn.

First question is, does the setup even effect tire wear in the game?
I tinkered with the toe and camber and both lasted the same.
Is it something with the springs and/or shocks?
If I was spinning a lot, I would think LSD, but that isn't an issue.

I would like to get to 8 or 9 laps, at the least.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I've found that online excessive camber will cause higher tire wear, but I haven't done any specific testing, just how it 'seemed' to be.
In longer online races, I brake sooner, coast longer, and accelerate easier.
Depending on how many laps the race is, depends on how long I'll do this. I've also found that drafting behind the leader can help a lot. Not tire wear directly, but using the lip stream, to maintain speed rather than late braking or early accelerating. Then with 5 laps to go, I have fresher tires to make my move on the leader and try to pull away.

Camber causes tire wear, but traction loss is the real tire killer. Tune the LSD and dial back the torque sent to the wheels if possible, if you're driving a car that can be swapped down to sports flywheel, try that over semi-race and the wheels will not receive the same sudden bursts of torque. Run the stock drive shaft instead of the carbon drive shaft, etc. Whatever can slow down the drivetrain a bit saves the tires more than it costs you speed.
