The last few days i've been away from the indy and been tuning a few things for the tunnel so far I have some mediocre tunes but its still pretty fun... Im still learning about how to tune for the tunnel but with some help from some tunnel tuners (Dr. Slump, Air Jordan) I believe that this may start something new for me.. I would like for some of you 1/4 tuners to join me in tuning for tunnel and continue the friendly competition (and sometimes unfriendly :lol: ) that we always have at indy. I think that it will continue our interest in GT5 and will enable us to meet new people that have always tuned as hard as we have but just on another track... I got a few runs today and it was a lot of fun I met new people and learned about this new style of tuning (for me anyway)... here is a few vids I got by racing today also I will be posting as many vids as I can get on my Youtube channel about tunnel tuning and racing.

Yea tunnel is fun, I used to run there but people started moving to Indy and soon all the rooms died out.
 
Actually ran that shift guy. Tunnel is ok i guess, depends on your liking...
 
Anyone up for some drifting?? j/p.. Tunnel has come back to me somehow. Its been a long time since i raced there but ive been sneaking in a couple of runs. Also ran into a couple people i use to run with about 5 months ago. But im also getting back into my honda mode. Even though the honda drama is always there.

Just as a little tip: Don't rev it that high, shift somewhere around 7250 ;)

EDIT: 7250, not 6250..... :ouch:

do you want to shift before, right at or after the power band(peak hp and tq)?

i try to shift at peak hp then try to get the next gear to land around peak tq, not easy

Yea.. I took a second look at the graph and saw that... Made my Z06 quite a bit faster thanks!

Ill be on Wednesday 4pm my time which is about 11pm Tuesday for you.

um... I wont be home tuesday night but maybe I could find a time where its 4pm for me and 11pm for you? :lol: that wont work but how about... Wednesday night? Thursday morning?

Tunnel race? Sure... This is my first ever tune so it would be fun... If you are talking about Indy, how many times must I state in this forum that the GT-R is the most overused and overrated car in the game not to mention that there is no coming back if you get treed or just start after the other racer... 👎

I've also gone back to the tunnel.

Just today I was in Calvulery's room racing his enzo... I got beat by 4 car lenghts :P
I was using automatic transmission though, since I'm not sure of the shift points.

What does the Enzo trap at the end of the tunnel? I was doing around 251.

i hit 600 mph jk you should only be hitting 256

256??? in a enzo? hell no! out the tunnel should be 250-251, any more and you'll lose the acceleration.

Yea... I'm not going to tune an Enzo because I see it as the GT-R of Indy... Way overdone and overused :crazy:
