Yes there is, you can turn of music everywhere by going to options and sound volume, for races, turn down Race BGM to 0, for replays, turn down Replay BGM to 0, if you want to turn off the menu music, turn down Menu BGM to 0 .

For replays I actually just decided to turn music up and cars all the way down. The car sounds in GT Sport replays are really weird, as if the frequency spectrum is crowded by rumbling noise.

What if you change it to show the cars instead? I'm not using names, but car brands and i have nothing floating over the cars in single player that is, i don't play online, so i don't know if you can change between car brands and names of the drivers in sport mode.

There's hidden controls on the keyboard that would allow you to take those names off

It would be faster to first look there than to register on this forum

It is F1 to turn off the flags over the cars in the replays and F4 to turn them on again.
