First, the game looks lovely in HDR (game mode) on my Sammy 65ks8500. I am having MAJOR issues with some of the menus. The grey and white backgrounds are difficult to read, at times practically impossible without putting the pointer on a selection.

What adjustments can be made in the game or on the panel to make the text readable? I already moved up toabout 5 feet from it to be able to read smaller text. Normally 7.5 is where I sit.

Who do we report "issues" to? This is a SEVERE problem. If every menu had a dark background with light text, that would simply be perfect.

Can the text be bolded? That would probably solve it. They need to add an "accessibility" tab tonthe game options for those of us with vision issues. I'm slightly color blind and I've lost about 70% of my vision in general (tunnel vision).

Of course my phone can see the text better then my eyes.

Help will truly be appreciated. @Jordan if you or the staff have any contacts at PD you could talk to about this, it would help a TON.

PS4 (original) has HDR on, RGB is limited as always. Switching to auto or full doesn't help with this issue.

Thanks

Does this happen with other games? this sounds like a TV calibration issue. NXgamer has a great tutorial for TV calibration but not sure if it works with HDR TVs. Also search for HDR related issues online.

GT6 had the same sort of issues on my Pioneer KURO.

On AVSForum, most people suggest usongnthe calibration on RTINGS.com, which I did. I strayed from it a bit, but nothing major.

I'm sure this is intended by all the devs now, having the bright sun in your face makes the track vanish! This was pretty severe with the KURO and is resolved for the most part on Sammy. Except in some instances.

I even turned sharpness down to 20'or so from 50 to try to soften the text.

If you're in the beta, you should post about this in the dedicated beta forum provided by PlayStation. That's the best way to get in touch with them about any issues that you're experiencing.
