TVR Speed 12 1/4 tune (Indy)

Ive been searching all over the forum but cant find any 1/4 indy tune for the Speed 12 , anyone who knows a good tune suitable for this car?

I know people dont like to give out their tunes but do me a favour !

No.

Add weight.. a lot of weight. Other than that its no different than any other car...

Tune your transmission for the length first, then add weight to launch properly either quick shifting or straight launching.. most likely from 2-3 short shift or launch in 2nd... either way the car sucks for 1/4...

Hey Shawns. add me on psn: shadow113093 i race my Speed 12 constantly in 1/4 races, it doesnt beat the super cars like GTR's and Ford GT's or Vipers. but it runs very good. race me with yours, if you like my tune ill either hook u up with mine, or give you some pointers on how mine is set up.

I did yesterday 10,320s spinning all the 1/4m
That car has so bad chassis for drags that i was launching in 4th
and it was like a rwd with 600ps at the first 200m.
Then Hell comes loose and time is at that level.
Full ballast at rear,trans for almost 200mph launch at 4th and shifting if you can!!!

Good to hear I like anyone other than me who is running the Speed 12 and dominating. Now my tune if far from pefect as i cant beat over half the AWD car i race.

Same here with the tune I had for 1/4. Launching in 4th, the RPM is stable at around 6000-6500 and right before it moves up, shift up and the fun begins.

It's sad against high powerd AWD though....

I couldn't find a good tune using the lower gears, 2nd and 3rd.

Ha!!!! What a tool. Why would he expect you to give out your tune, espically after he kicked you?!

Just because you don't like it or haven't made a decent one has no bearing on if it is good or not. As the other guy said and was aiming towards, any car can be good or bad, just a matter of if you can do it.

who are you again? And no matter how you see it sunshine the speed 12 aint good for quarter ok. There is too much spin no matter what you do to it and as my last post said mate i said me personally i don't like it i wasn't talking on behalf of all draggers

It is a 1/4 dragger's nightmare.. Terrible powerband, rotten spin, even with full ballast and/or limited power it still suffers.

I don't think it's that bad of a car with the reputation most people have given it. It can give a well tuned zr1 a run for its money, I say that's pretty competitive.
