TVR speed 6 tire wear

I cant figure out why in the hell the rear tires on my TVR speed 6 im using for the TVR race are wearing SIGNIFICANTLY more in rear. The front will still be blue, and the rear will be yellow before the 1st lap is over. I've been trying to take it easier on the turns, but the other cars in that race DO NOT PIT for the entire 10 laps so I need to make up time so I can pit on lap 5. . . any suggestions? Slicker tires? Spring rate is 12.0 f/r and ride height 68mm. Cant adjust downforce or VCD as there is none.

After that I hope to win the TVR 12spd and then its off the Polophony Digital Cup. . .

What series are you running (I should be able to figure that out from the Speed 12 prize car)? I ran my Speed 6 in the British Car cup using T2 tires. I don't recall tire wear being a big issue, and I went all 10 laps without pitting.

If possible I'd suggest you go to harder tires and try to avoid pitting, rather than trying to buy enough time to pit. The car behaves much more consistently over the life of harder tires, and while the ultimate best lap times aren't as good, usually the average lap times are a lot better.

Edit: For what it's worth, the stock Speed 6 ought to be enough to win the PD Cup. The Speed 12 will be a slaughter.

I like a challenge. . . but when you've come to the last last lap, and spin out and come in 6th, it's not good. I always like to allow what I like to call. . . mess up time

I just noticed this line. Do a search for the "save and reload trick" to make sure you win the Speed 12.

Yeah, thats an invaluable trick, i've been using it all over the place Does anyone know a 100% working trick to selecting the car you want? I did leguna seca enurance 2x and got the same car twice trying to win another F1. Needless to say, I was ****ing PISSED.

ive noticed that if u beat a series with four different cars u get all four cars without any repeats.

I did this at the DREAM CAR series

i used the 787b and won FTO LM RACE CAR
GT ONE S 2000 LM RACE CAR
RAYBRIG SUBARU LM RACE CAR
CORVETTE C5R RX-7 LM RACE CAR

Ive also noticed that if u beat a series with the same car twice then u win the same car.

this is just my experience and im not saying it might always work.
So check it out and see if it works.

I thought there was no way the game would be so crule as to give me the exact same car after an endurance race, but it did. . . 2 hours for nothing more than a few 100k credits. bah. I sold the car and went to bed.

Yeah, the endurances are totally random, and you only get the one chance. Lots of people have tried lots of ways to change what car you get, but it really is random. At least with a series race you can repeat as neceesary to get your choice.

i figured out if you win the endurance races with a certian car youl get a car more often like when i was try to get the nismo gtr lm road car on the seatle 100miles i raced using the polyphony001 and 002 but i kept on geting the f1 cars and the esperanto gtr but to get the nismo road car i used the ruf ctr

It really is purely random. I ran the Seattle Enduro in an Evo VI and in the Clio racecar. Both times I won the Tommykaira ZZII.
