Two quick questions. LBs / car choice

Hi all I have a couple of questions that I was hoping someone might be able to answer for me, first being leaderboards .
Does anyone know if GT6 will have local or friends LBs ? second is cars I understand that there are no standard/ premium cars this time round but ive also read that not all cars will be getting a fully fleshed out cockpit so my question is how will we know what we are buying ?
Thing is I only really like driving in cockpit mode and will avoid cars that don't have this feature , in gt5 it was easy I only brought cars that were premium but if all cars a labeled the same in gt6 how will I be able to know what ones do and don't have full cockpits ?

Truth is we dot know 100% yet. I'd imagine there would be some sort of leader boards this time round because GT6 has some new online features according to some of the interviews that have been going around, but nothing confirmed. As for interior views, again we don't know how it will work yet. Expect something similar to GT5. So Full premium models will be in the new car dealerships and standard premiums in used. But again, nothing confirmed.

If you avoided sub-Standard models in GT5, you must not have finished A-Spec. Even if you disregard the several-hour races, as I recall you still can't compete in all of the races with just Premium models because some event restrictions didn't allow for Premiums. Off the top of my head, the Formula Gran Turismo races only allowed the FGT, which was Standard.

Cockpits aren't the difference between Standard and Premium. Standards were last-gen imports of lower model detail, and also lacked cockpits. It isn't as simple as "Cockpits are Premium and cars without them are Standard." If a model was from PSP, PS2, or PSX, it was Standard.

Ive not long had the game , bit late to the party I know but ive recently moved over from Forza.

You say cockpits aren't the difference between standard and premium cars , but all my premium cars have fully rendered cockpits whereas all the standard cars ive tried only have blacked views?

So on that assumption ive gone on the (s) labeled cars do not have a rendered cockpit and the premium cars do , but if (s) & (p) are not present in gt6 how would it be labeled ? But if like you say the cockpits are not the difference I'll have to re look .

Also by avoid I mean I avoid buying them I just use friends one line cars and drive with bumper cam.

Hmm... I think the Plymouth Prowler '02 have speedometer and rev meter gauge work, but not so special since I drive it in cockpit view as GT5 2.0 patch was release around Oct or Nov 2011.

Answer is we don't know. Although we have been told there are no more standards, we don't know how far the GT5 standards will be upgraded visually for GT6, but I'm pretty sure most of them will not have a cockpit either but for a few like the Caterham. We are also not sure if they'll be called something different from true "premiums" that do have a cockpit. In other words, we have no clue because we haven't been given any detail in this area...or any other areas really.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for leaderboards I do miss them , me and my friend's used to always try and out do each other in hot lap sessions in forza .I was surprised to see them missing in gt5 hopefully not the case for 6
