out of curiosity, i've always wondered what people choose to use.
I myself always run Real rather than Low because im assuming its more "realistic" but i can't really notice any difference between the options.
anyone else notice any difference ?

Maybe I've made this up, but I feel like real means that when you run wide and have full throttle, or brake with a wheel on the grass you'll go into a spin, where as Low just makes you wobble a bit?

^^me too, I find "real" to be less forgiving when running curbs or exceeding track limits(even the slightest amount)

I haven't experienced it, i sometimes clip curbs when on the Kyoto driving park. and never experienced any bite. maybe depends on the car im using or tyre set-up.

I've had it happen at Interlagos when I go too wide into the braking zone for turn 4, no kerbs on the outside just dirt and grass

@Scaff made it pretty clear that tyre is very unrealistic. I'd say low.

Anyone who doubts this, please try to replicate 0-100kph (0-60mph) times with the cars in GT Sport... You will fail to do so with nearly any FR and FF car.

Whoops, did not read the actual post, I though the question is whether the grip is low or real in terms of tyre model.
