I noticed something similar. Went off at the first corner in a race at a lower than hot lap pace and braking for the next corner was longer than normal. I haven’t seen the usual colours on the tyres in the uiIt's a good question, because whenever I pit and get back out with fresh tires they feel a bit 'off' at first, but by the second half of that lap they start to feel better. Could be that it's a thing but isn't directly presented, not sure.
On that basis you’d think that there was some sort temps in bedded in the game ,but if that’s the case then I wish it was shown in the HUD .It's a good question, because whenever I pit and get back out with fresh tires they feel a bit 'off' at first, but by the second half of that lap they start to feel better. it's always been in the game, but they don't really talk about it, probably because it's quite rudimentary. On that basis you’d think that there was some sort temps in bedded in the game ,but if that’s the case then I wish it was shown in the HUD .

But this isn’t very visual either. Them trees be made of concrete! They added wind to the game
I installed it but it says "wifi not connected". Does it need to have the console connected via Wifi instead of cable? There is tyres temperature in GT7. You can use sim dashboard on your phone or tablet to check it.
The console needs to be connected in the same network and need to configure the local IP address of the console on the dashboardI installed it but it says "wifi not connected". Does it need to have the console connected via Wifi instead of cable?
Yes that's done but I get that message. I guess the console needs to be on wi-fi and not on cable. The console needs to be connected in the same network and need to configure the local IP address of the console on the dashboard
It may be a case of "Access Point Isolation" by your router, that prevents different devices to communicate between them.Yes that's done but I get that message. I guess the console needs to be on wi-fi and not on cable.
Thanks a lot, will check that!It may be a case of "Access Point Isolation" by your router, that prevents different devices to communicate between them.
Mind also that the local network IP address expires periodically, so it's cautionary to check it every time you turn your console on.
In my case, when I have the wrong IP it just says the game is not running at the moment.
At the moment I can't check with my PS4 on a wired connection, because my house isn't wired this way but I believe many people who use the app, specially when playing online, uses a wired connection without issues.
No, just the same network. I use SiM Dashboard, my PS4 is connected to router via cable, and phone via WiFi.Yes that's done but I get that message. I guess the console needs to be on wi-fi and not on cable.
Maybe, i have the tablet and the PS5 connected to the same wifi and it works fine. (You have to enter the IP of the ps, you can find it in the connection section)I installed it but it says "wifi not connected". Does it need to have the console connected via Wifi instead of cable?
What are the best values for the thresholds?Yes, tire temp is absolutely a thing. Only on races with tire wear enabled. If you want to know temps, download a sim dash app for your phone/ tablet. They all have widgets showing temp, wheel spin, and wheel lock. Though the default optimum thresholds are inaccurate, they can be adjusted.
Still working it out myself......Most of the time the tyres are around 145 to 170 during a race. This appears to be the case on an out lap after piting while the tyres are "slippery". So I'm starting to think the actual values are just visual but idk. What are the best values for the thresholds?
