uDraw Tablet

does anybody think it would be a good idea if PD added a feature to GT6 where you could make you're own liveries/decals and add functionality of the uDraw tablet so you can use that to draw you're own designs?

this would make a really nice feature. just think of the creations you could make using the uDraw tablet.

is there any way we can put this idea forward to PD?

I didn't realise they made Udraw for PS3..

I doubt it, Udraw has barely been used for anything ever so barely anyone has them.

THQ discontinued production of the tablet in early February 2012. "THQ has no future commitments or plans to manufacture uDraw hardware,"

yes i have one. got it off amazon on a special offer for £4.25.

it came with uDraw instant artist, quite boring to be honest but for £4.25 you can't go wrong.

yes quite a shame it's not being used for much. if PD used this for their game then it could make it very usefull instead of some forgotten accessory.

shame really because this could have been a good feature. shame they can't put it in for those that have it but not much point if not many people have it.

With the accessory no longer being produced or sold, it would make quite literally no sense for PD to support it.

Even though the G25 and old outdated wheels are supported, the Udraw tablet is an entirely different kettle of fish.

Sorry pal, but I can say with near certainty that you wont find use for your tablet in Gran Turismo

Liveries that allowed freehand drawing would be rather intensive on the system I'd imagine, that's why most games use pre-set shapes.

Great idea!
I once posted a thread about this before and got similar replies.
Shame udraw flopped,making liveries for GT6 would have been cool but it doesn't seem viable for SONY.
Nice to see someone likes it though.

yes it's a shame sony can't get permission from THQ and carry on with the production of the tablet.

if sony carried production on and come out with some fantastic exclusives for it then it could take off.
sony could add features into their future games to support this.

Totally agree.
Hopefully GT6's livery editor(if it has one)is good but,on a par with cough forza cough that's good or so I've heard.

oh i do hope you can creat a livery. im a massive british touring car fan and on forza 4 i have loads of btcc reps.

would love to make some btcc rep cars in GT6. i hope the MG6 GT is on there because i love that car.

I read the other day that when THQ went bust around 1.4 million Udraw tablets were unsold and its what helped in a big way kill the company!

that's probably the reason amazon was near enough giving them away. because around a year ago i was planning on getting one and it was £15.99 but i got one at begining of this year for £4.25 from amazon.
