UGH... School Starts Again today!

Just wanted everyone to know, most of us start school again today.

Vacation seemed to just have started yesterday.

I was at work 27th/28th Dec, and 3rd/4th Jan though, so you don't have it so bad!

Here's the way my best friend breaks it down. (This doesn't affect me as much, because I have a steady GirlFriend, and my Job provides me with new faces all the time.)

My friend tells me he misses his College days at least once every month.
Does he miss the intellectual Challenge? No.
Does he miss the community atmosphere? No.
Does he miss going out to bars 4 nights a week? No. (He can do that anywhere)
Does he miss his Friends? No.
He misses having alot of girls around. He misses having at least 4 or 5 girls with him every time he goes out somewhere.
So the moral of the story is... Enjoy certain things while they last, because you'll miss it later on.

hmmm, I don't have the last one going on quite yet... with me being at a community college and all. I think that will all change when i go to the University, a real college.

You guys got quite a storm down there, eh? I had some sleet today, but the system seems to be just out of reach of my area. New Jersey got quite a bit though.
I'm actually hoping for some snow, it makes the whole world look clean for a day or two.

I did the weekend job (and a few weeknights) through high school and uni - it was much more cruisy than now!

Is going to school for 10hours considered a job? Its a job to me.

We started on Tursday, because we have block classes. So, on thursday, I had blocks 1,2,3,4 and friday I had blocks 5,6,7,8. It makes it easy.

College for me doesn't start again until the fall b/c I don't have the money to go right now. I'm still at the music academy, though

I really miss uni - I guess I got lucky and was smart enough to cruise it - but I had a great time. I learned to drink and....significantly advanced my knowledge in other activities involving the opposite sex...

I find work a lot more wearing. A lot more stupid people around in the real world.

Its 8 hours with 7 min breaks in between classes so that we can walk to our other classes, the other 2 hours i drive 15min to 7th period class.
I dont study, need to stop that bad habit

I never study. I usually get a B on tests, and sometimes even A. The best thing to do is after the teacher graded your test, and you got a 100%, the teacher might say, "Did you study?" and then you say, "Well...NO!" Then they well say something to the effect of, "Well, even though you got a good grade this time, if you don't study for the next test, you won't get an A"

I've done this several times, and it's funny to see the teacher's face, and it makes you look smart.

90-100=A
80-89=B
74-79=C
70-73=D
below 69=F

My grades for last semester

90,97,90,89(damn language arts teacher wouldnt round it up ),92, 90

I qualify for it, but I'd have to be enrolled full time... I wasn't ready for that and working AND raising my kiddos. Plus I didn't apply in time.. hehe. So, that's why I'm pushing it back until September.
