After hours of messing around on test cource to find the fastest car I came to the realization that none of the cars that I had could go reach 300mph. At that point I became bent on breaking the 300mph barrier. Finally after many more hours I managed to get the 180sx drag to 318.6mph (not kph). COOL! When I went back to my garage I found something new. A racing Toyota Supra jza80. I checked out the stats on it only to find that it had 63000hp ( yes sixty three thousand) I had to detune it (16000hp) to attempt to turn it. Anyways two days later my memory card was history.

Its been like two years since I did it and I still havent seen anything simillar. Has anyone seen or heard anything like this or did I come accross some glitch?

p.s. I'll never forget the sound of that car. It was like some sort of laser gun firing everytime the needle bounced off the end of the redline.

I haven't heard of anything like this, and it sounds like a glitch to me but maybe you did somehow win this. However if you tried a few times maybe you won it a different way then going 300+.

Similar thnigs happen in GT3, it's very rare and has never happened to me, bu it can happed. Do you have or have you used a sharkport or hacking device?

This happened to me in GT2, I forget the car, but yeah it toasted out my memory card also. I was serverely displeased.

HUH sounds weird never heard of this unless like live4speed said if you use some type of hacking device then somehow the memory card got infected.

Weird story, dude. I never heard of anything like this before. It must be some shared game save thing, of some sort.

Without usuing a GameShark, some copies of GT2 have made garage cars have crazy horsepower figures. But there's been all sorts of problems such as ridiculous HP figures, hidden cars showing up (like the CLK Race Car) and corrupted memory card issues because of these bugs.

I've never had this happen, but I tend to think it's from setting lots of records in the Max Speed/400m/1000m area that causes this problem.

yes I did . The Escudo got 16784hp or somethink like that after a race. But I couldn't drive it so I restarted the game. I think it was a bug.

Its like a virus. You keep the car with the massive power, your memory card dies...

Your supposed to sell the car as soon as you see the power that high.
