Hi everyone,
since yesterday night, i'm unable to connect to my psn account via the granturismo.com website in order to manage some remote races... I've downloaded and installed the 1.08 patch, and I can do these remote races without any problem via my PS3... but not by connecting to the website when I'm not at home... Do you have the same problem? What do I have to do?
Thanks!

I was getting an error message saying that my browser was unable to open it.
PS3 was on at home and was set to server mode so just assumed my wifi had gone down. Yet again...

Wi-Fi works fine on my side though... this morning I was able to sign in on my PSN account and enter the remote racing mode (and select the server option) with my PS3, but not via the granturismo.com site... I'll wait and see I guess :-)
And sorry to all my B-Spec remote racing friends, I'll try to find a solution today to host some more races !

Did you download / install PS3 update #3.60? When I opened GT5 this morning, it told me I would have to do that before I could log in. Maybe the message does not appear if you left your PS3 on overnight.

I updated both 3.60 & 1.08 and I can remote race from a remote computer.

Hi MarsSpork, I've done all this this morning also... and i'm still not able to connect on the website to do some remote races! And I tried on 2 different computers, mine at home and one at work!

I'll try the updates tonight when I get back home because 1.08 didn't come up on mine last night. Not really a problem though as I never feel the need to do dohnuts beneath SSR7 ;)

Hi V-fal,

I had the exact same problem last night. I solved it by going to the PSN webpage ( http://us.playstation.com/psn/ ) and logging in there first. Once I was able to do that, I then went back to the gran-turismo website and was able to login normally after that.

Let me know if that helps, or not.

I've had this problem all day.

I get the "Missing return URL parameter" message.

I have logged into PSN site ok and can even access gran-turismo.com from my PS3 browser, but not from my PC.

I have tried Firefox and IE and both are the same??

I'm mystified.

Update: Got it to work. I just updated everything. Firefox, Java, Windows. And now it works. :)

i wonder what happened? I finally got logged in last night girl friend uses firefox and non of the above was working. So i tryed it with IE8 no go there either untill, i logged in to the playstation network AND left the window open, then went back to the GT web site and it logged in fine. If i loging to the playstation network then close the window and go back im still logged in, but i cant get on at the GT web site. I have to leave the window open in the background (hope that all makes sense) How weird

I'm still having to do the same thing every once in awhile. Before I stumbled on the workaround with the PSN login, I had sent a trouble ticket via the web contact on the website. Here is what I got back:

Hello, I'm trying to sign in to the us.gran-turismo.com site with my ID and password and am not able to. I continue to get the following: Missing return URL parameter.

Hello Michael,

We do apologize for the inconvenience regarding this web site,

It is not an issue with the web site, it appears that it may be a problem with your browser. Please first trying to clean your
cache and cookies on the browser. Another suggestion would be to access the site from a different browser such as
Firefox, Chrome etc.

Regards,
Don K

Apparently it's not an issue for them :grumpy:, even though I tried all of that before and still got the same error. ugh!

Yea im still having this issue too.. and I can't understand how they haven't done anything to change browser compatablity or something as theres so many people with this issue. ugh! Indeed..

Edit:
I allowed third party cookies and my issue was resolved :)
