For more than the last 2 days, I receive the 'Unable to send ticket, you've reached your daily limit' message when attempting to send car/birthday tickets even though I haven't sent any tickets.

I have restarted PS3, cable modem, and wireless router. I have cleared GT5 cache. Nothing helps.

Also, I am the only user of my PS3 so noone else is using the 1 ticket per PS3 per day limit.

I've sent appx 100 tickets in GT5 before and this is the first time this has happened.

Is anyone else having this problem? How can I get it fixed?

Are you able to trade other items such as paint or parts?

i think the daily reset time has been knocked off a bit since 1.10. i am uk time so my reset is midnight, however last week i still couldnt send anything at 1.30am. then on saturday last weekend i was on before midnight, racing through the reset time and when i returned to home screen it gifted me my log in paints and cards....so i thought everythings cool.... NOT. tried to send a ticket and was told had sent my limit so lost ticket and trade. i think its safe to say better to hold off as long through the day as possible until you send stuff:nervous:

I'm not sure if I checked this... I will check again tonight.

Have you sent a car?, a ticket counts as a car, yeah tell me about it.

No I haven't sent a car. I do know that car = car ticket = birthday/level/rally/muscle/NASCAR ticket.

happen to me aswell for the past 4 days when i try to send a car i get a you've reached your daily limit' message when attempting to send a car

Happened to me when trying to dupe a ticket. Was able to send it to my dupe account, but on the other account it said I reaced my trade limit. On this particular account I have not sent anything in a few weeks.

I also made a brand new account and tried to send a birthday ticket from it and it said I reached my trade limit, on a new account.

Did they change it so that you can only trade 1 car/ticket per ps3 per day?

I've received mulitple PMs from others having the same problem as stated in OP.

Has anyone been able to fix the problem? I'm about to try some crazy things like deleting Game Saves. :nervous: :scared:

My 'Unable to send tickets...' problem has been resolved. I'm not precisely sure what fixed it.

I didn't have to resort to deleting Game Saves and restoring from backup.

I read in another thread that if you try to send a ticket to someone and that persons inbox is full your ticket/part/car won't send but it counts as a send. I'm not positive if this is true but some (but not all) of my unable to send messages happened right after I tried to send someone a ticket who had a full inbox.

I also upgraded my PS3 to 3.66 and rebooted cable modem & wireless router again.

Good luck to those who have sent me PMs having the same problem.

I can confirm that this is true. If you send a ticket to someone with a full inbox then it won't send but it counts as a send. Happened to me twice already 👎
Well, another reason to get rid of the useless and user-unfriendly trading restrictions in GT5.

Thanks. I received a couple of PMs confirming this as well.

To ensure that I don't lose a ticket/car trading day in the future, I plan to first send a random gear. If they can receive gear, then I'll send the ticket/car. If they can't receive gear, then I won't waste my ticket/car trading day.

That will work unless they get an instant dump, or you just fill up their inbox. I really haven't found a way around this other than to tell people in advance to clear their inbox.
