understeer in 3507

Hi I just bought the 03 350z (z33) and i put some settings together and stuff i can't get this thing to stop understeer can yall give me some tips here is my settings

spring rate 10.0/12.0
ride height 79/79
shock bound 7/7
shcok rebound 5/5
camber 2.5/1.0
toe 0/0
stabilizer 4/4
lsd 40/40/20
trany- auto set 13

If your grtting understeer on braking Id say lay off the brakes a tad more, dont overload the front tires too much or they'll lose traction. You should be using the brakes going into the turn, so the only real "lift off" should be making the rear tires spin.

i get alot on braking but a little bit on lift off

You could try fiddling around with the brake balance and weight balance settings, though if I remember right the '03 Z33 is a tough car to drift in GT4 without the right settings.

We did a version of this car as a DSJ project some time ago (link: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=71753 )

You could read through that and see if it helps... the 350 isn't the easiest car to set up, but the standard version should be easier than the Z-tune we did in that thread. As far as I can remember, the cars have more or less the same characteristics, though the stock Z seems to let the rear end loose easier.

Some suggestions that would at least make the car more to my liking:
- Lower the LSD settings.. your settings seem very high and would seem to make the car very snappy and tight. I'd suggest 10/30/8 for starters.
- Raise the ride height (to at least 95/100), this can significantly reduce loss of grip at turn-in. Also raise the rear end a bit more than the front (5-10mm).
- Soften the spring rates (personal preference) to around 6-8. I'd suggest 7.5/7 as a good starting point. The Z has a very slight front weight bias (something like 53/47 distribution) so ideally, the front should be slightly stiffer as a starting point. I've previously found that a low rear spring rate made most cars turn in/oversteer easier, that might also work for you.
- Use even less camber.. I'd generally use 0.5-1.5 up front and 0-1 at the back, depending on springs/dampers.
- Soften the stabilizers.

hello redid the settings and looked through that thread it was great

here they are
Nissan 350Z (Z33) 413HP NA MONSTER!!!!!!

spring rate-8.0/6.5(i like this it loose i can feint alot easier)
ride height-95/100
shockbound-6/5
shcokrebound-6/3
camber-1.5/1.0
toe-2/4
stabilizer-2/1

over all i don't have that much understeer that i had before .i can tell i just need to have better technique in drifting, just need to practice more now i got my fav car set-up if their is anything wrong let me know
