I've had an idea, and here it is:
On a few polls recently, there have been multiple selections available, but the punters have just picked one and then voted, before doing something sensible, like actually reading the instructions. I myself am included in this by the way.
And then there are some polls, like "What is your % complete", where the punter's vote may change - I know this thread is still kicking around, and I've completed 35% since I voted.
So my suggestion is that there should be an 'undo' feature on poll votes, thus preventing people from voting multiple times, and having the context sensitivity of showing the poll options to those who have voted, and the poll results to those who have not.
The only problem I forsee with this is that you'd have to tag the username against the vote, which would increase the database search time, but that's why it's just a suggestion.
Opinions anyone?
