"It was a different time" does not absolve the vermin that willingly participated in the convention of slavery as conservative vermin today invoke it. It has always been an exercise in the use of force, or threat thereof, to violate the fundamental natural right of individual sovereignty and to deny self-determination. As such, it is right and correct to view one's having willingly participated in the convention of slavery as an indelible mark on any supposed legacy, even to reconsider whether a supposed legacy should be recognized at all in light of one's having willingly participated in the convention.

Unlike what the ackchyually bridge will always tell you on the internet, the Mercator map projection is, actually, fine.

Yeah, we know it's not realistic. You're not telling anybody anything they don't already know.

People who complain about this are the dumbest mouth breathers and deserve to be left behind. Just rotate the cylindrical bottle so that the cap is facing down, mate.

Reminds me of the whole complains about the removal of plastic straws and every way it "ruins" drinking is a non issue.

Especially the people who complain about supposedly their paper straws breaking. What on earth are you doing to destroy paper straws? I never had that problem once.

McDonalds milkshakes are kinda hard work with paper straws though.

Even better, just give the cap a half-twist and one of the 'stalks' breaks, it's still attached, but now doesn't get in the way.

Mine always fall apart after one sip

Yeah, I never heard of someone leaving the caps all-the-way on before. I always twisted mine off and just held it in my hand until I had a sip. Or if I could, just pour the drink into a cup. I can't say I've heard people whining about having to twist a cap off just to drink some soda or water.
