Hello,
I do not understand why GT Sport does not improve anything about the vr capabilities of the game.
Of course the limitations are clear, the PS4 is not powerful enough for the complete vr experience of GT Sport.
But why limit vr to 2 laps, why is the other car so slow, why can we have no time trial?
These questions appear frequently on forums, but they are completely ignored.
I bought my PS 4 Pro and PS VR especially for racing games, but as for GT Sport the result is very meagre!
For the rest the game is beautiful, the cars look great and the driving feels very good.
Why not improve the vr capabilities of the above mentioned?

I've no idea why PD chose to limit VR, I guess they don't want everyone ignoring for sport and fia aspect of the game.
I fired up driveclub VR the other day, racing against 6 AI is no better than racing against 1 AI.
I can understand the limitations of the original PS4, so I would be happy if PD just fixed it so we could hotlap without having to remember our own laptimes as we cross the start/finish straight.

I've since thought about running against my own ghost in VR, it would be nasty having a ghost car inside my VR car
If you want more laps, just run the track again.

I also have Driveclub VR, it is nice, to me it feels better to race against 7 really competitive cars, then against one that is not really competing. But the game has no real race tracks like Suzuka etc., and there is nothing you can change about the car you drive in except the seating position. It is a nice game, but that's about it.
I feel GT Sport has the potention to be great with vr, but has not yet done so.
If they wait for the PS5 and/or the PSVR 2 they should say so. At this moment I feel a bit insulted by Sony.

Everyone that has really used vr, confirms that it has changed radically the way they look at racing games. The 3D experience is totally different and so far more immersive. To me it felt like a revolution in racing and I am eagerly waiting for more.
The next step could be the hydraulic racing game chair. These are still to expensive now, but will become cheaper.
