UPDATED: Petition! - Who likes the seasonal pattern?

Week 1: A-Spec
Week 2: TT/DT
Week 3: B-Spec
Week 4: TT/DT
Repeat (today is week 3 in the cycle).

Frankly, the TT/DT are ok, but 3 events each would be better.

As for the B-Spec, enough is enough, I have a bad feeling that in a few hours from time of writing, we'll have yet another, B-Spec Seasonal, which I won't even bother with.

So how bout it? Do you prefer the previous way, where every 1-2 weeks you got 5 A-Spec events (approx. 10 A-Spec a month), or now, where every 4 weeks, you only get 3 A-Spec events (3 A-Spec a month)?

Yes, I intentionally left no 'other' option, because I felt many people may be indifferent, but I want PD to change this rut they've been in, it's been long enough, 5 cycles worth of this is too much.

I like knowing what type of event is coming and when, usually. But maybe once every 4 weeks it should be a wild card event with some crazy restrictions.

B-Spec? At least they finally got that track but for B-Spec!? It even gets MONZA!!?? GAAAHHH!!!

Oh well, at least the B-Spec lovers will enjoy it.

The A spec and B spec seems extremely lazy to me. You could just release all tracks now with the option of runing A/B spec at 400/500/650pp. Put it under free run and include 450/550/600/700pp/etc.

I guess they decided to do this so they could reallocate staffing from Seasonals to something else which is fair enough but I don't like the lack of interest/thought.

They should run a competition here to suggest a Seasonal Event for the next week. There would probably lots of people willing to contribute here.

It's ok in a way, something different, granted the B Spec mode isn't used as much by us GT gamers, BUT, it allows us the race our B Spec drivers for bigger cash rewards than the Remote Racing.

In the end it does involve the B Spec mode more into the game which is a good thing, I know its not as exciting watching the races as actually doing them yourself but the prizes are all the same - cash, gear and car tickets

Having said all that, I would love to see the themed A-Spec seasonals like we had before the refresh when they added the prize rewards 👍

The pattern would be ok, if they mixed up the formula for events. 5 lap 400pp, 5 lap 500pp and 10 laps 650pp. Every week , it's the same, why no championships, why no endurance races, why no same car, fixed tune races.

The sessionals should be much more specific:

Exemple:
- For A-Spec races, equality in tires should be mandatory. Then a first place really would be a first place, not a cheap achievement with good payout.
- Drift Sessionals should be much more specific, putting limits about PP or HP or year or even specific model. The only one i remember like that was the one promoting the new GT-86.
- When a time trial is based in car´s countries, also there should be a sub-category for diferent PP...

And so on...

The A-Spec races lack variety. It's always 400PP, 500PP and 650PP, which is boring. Last years scheme with all the different races for different cars was so much better.

I personally don't like the TT and DT's. I'm tired of always seeing the same car, they should let everyone use the same car with same tuning, like the special events. This way it keeps a fair playing field and truley makes the top driver, the winner.

As for B-Spec seasonals, I don't mind them, but for people who have level 40 bobs (me for one), don't need it. Sure its easy cash but how easy is it to get broke in the game, not easy.

A-Spec races need to have more variety, its the same cars and weak tracks (except a few). We need more one make races or races with themes. They should restrict some races to region specifics or year specific, like they do some TT and DT events. Pretty much like Lazy Liquid said.

Bring back the Expert level seasonals we had at one stage....make sure we get a couple of months to beat the things though

It would be nice to see more variety of courses...more variety of every bloody thing, the lack of disc based in-game content is really showing now. I have started up another 4 game saves on top of my main one just so I can keep playing the game for some reward (AND to get the tickets ). Had they built manufacturer specific events such as are in previous GT's it would have added so much more to the game. The payoff in GT6 better be worth having to sit through such a threadbare version as we now have.

I think there should be a TT/DT every week with A-Spec/B-Spec alternating every week.
Week 1; TT, DT & A-Spec
Week 2; TT,DT & B-Spec
and repeat.

And throw in some special races every now and then. I don't ask for much

Same old pattern At least give us some custom tracks like the old seasonals & change PP & car restrictions. There's a lot of lower level race cars sitting idle in my garage. Hopefully we get something new after May 1.

I agree that there should be something different...and I was thinking, how about a Ferrari f1 race??? One race for f2007 and the other for f10....that would be interesting and fun in my opinion...I'm tired of only being able to use them in practice one make races...no reward

I think PD is now more focused in developping of GT6, thats why they made the events quickly to keep GT5 alive. I know, they are not very interesting and for most of us even boring. I do understand that. But still, doing the B-spec seasonals is better than nothing.

Besides, I never had uploaded a video which contains b-spec races. Maybe I should do it once this time

Agreed. What's even more sad is that PD won't even explain as to why they deleted the old seasonal events. For them not explaining, I say it was a pr%$k move...

I'm not much of a complainer. But I do think the pattern of 400/500/650 is getting slightly stale.

I'd mix it up with 350/450/600 occasionally. Sometimes it should be restricted to FWD, cars of one nationality, etc.

Also, I'd limit the PL to something slightly more realistic, say 90% or higher.

PD has stats on how many play the seasonals and how often. Seems like they would see the numbers dropping on repeat plays of these and realize that the game is starting to get stale. Bring one last cool DLC and I'm still interested. If not, then I probably won't find myself playing GT5 three or four days a week anymore.

I like the fact that they supply different challenges, I'd have taken a lot longer to get familiar with the Nordschleife if it hadn't turned up in two A spec challenges, and the fact that one is at 650pp and the other at 750pp is great!

Honestly, I liked the way things were when the seasonals first came out. Doing races with a specific car was a lot of fun!

Sometimes the car couldn't be purchased from the dealer, so I would have to find out where the car came from and go after it that way.

What I'd like to see is more A-Spec racing with the old way in mind. I think it'd be fun to have car A on track B, with the difficulty adjustment being what tires you select. If you can win the race on comfort hards, more power to you! You should get more money, experience, whatever.

I do agree that the 3 PP levels is getting a bit old. Would love to mix it up a little with one make races or something along those lines.
