Updates on Weekly Races?

Sorry if this looks lazy but I could not find anything on it recently. Is there any update on the return of Weekly races?

I have not been racing Dailies too much since I am new to the game and do not know the tracks well enough. And Dailies so not give me the time to learn. (Yes, I know some of you are pro after one lap. I am not.)

After they change everything in the game into 24hr rythm..the game went so or so to a crashgame because of the lack of training...

You have to train everyday for the 2 championship and everday for the dailys... but many drive 2-3 laps and go on track..result: Crashderby deluxe...

So save your driverrating and sit back and wait for better times..or play something else ..thats also always an option

I think he's saying that nobody does that and they don't take the time to learn the track and crash anyone in their way. I've run into it in both SR A and S. People be crazy

I've noticed the waits between races have gotten longer indicating a lack of interest.

Daily races have proven to be a failure. It's okay one of the three races is daily but not all three

Why not both?

Add in an extra tile on the Sport page so you have Daily Races, Weekly Races, Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup.

Also, while you probably can't learn the tracks to PERFECTION very quickly, you should be able to learn the layout enough after a few sighter laps that you can't jump into a race. Don't use it as an excuse not to race at all. You'll learn from the experience and from watching how other drivers handle the course. That said, whilst still learning you don't want to be too aggressive.

For a game that's 90% online focused there's not as much online variety as there could and should be, I think a lot of people are getting bored quickly with the choices PD are making regarding race structure/timing/car and track selection etc.

I was really looking to see if anyone heard about changes but for those that keep saying "you have enough time"... perhaps YOU do. I get a couple hours at most to play and not each night. With the time delay in races, I can get one maybe two in. I am really happy that you guys can play games for hours to learn a track and then start all over the next day. Some of us do not that have luxury. So at very least they should give us one weekly. And no.. not that Championship joke.

Sorry, don't mean to be terse about it but I am just getting tired of people thinking everyone has the same time, schedule and skill level as everyone else. They made a change because some ADHD people were QQing things were not COD enough for them. They should have eased into it.. not panic it. This may have been OK 4-5 months down the road when everyone knew the tracks well but not at release. It is a demo derby indeed.

As Kinna39 says... why not both? This is what baffles everyone.

@Raific, I agree with you. There are a lot of people with family (Wife and children). I‘m Not able to play all day. Maybe a few hours per week. So I hope, PD will bring back weekly races.
