Uploaded content removal GT7 issue?

This is the first time I have had this, I am wondering if it is a scam email all the links in the email start with cl.s6.exct.net and have a really huge string of code afterwards. But it got my name in PS correct and that I use GT7. And obviously my email which is private. So it could be genuine, only that I dont use GT7 for uploading anything, only non decal plain paint colours of a few cars, and not for sharing either just for myself.
I didnt click on any links in the email.

General rule of thumb is that any correspondence from PlayStation will come from an email address ending in .PlayStation.com like below

I'd also recommend checking your email address associated with your PSN on a site like Have I Been Pwned , as Sony have had many breaches and you may find that your account was on the list, in which case it may be worth updating passwords and changing the associated email address, afterall they can't try to hack your PSN account if they don't know the email address associated with it (can't hit a target you can't see!).

Email addresses are free to create, so I recommend having one address for critical things like banking or any accounts linked to your credit card, and a separate "burner" address for mailing lists etc, as the retail/mailing lists tend to be easier to breach, so using an email address with no personal details or critical accounts associated to it makes it low value if it gets exposed to a hack.

Yes had playstation.com email. Salesforce.com was in the email data too but then found Sony customer support uses salesforce when I was on it just now. I am thinking Sony bug from angry player/s in a lobyy reporting a single colour paint livery and it working. I may have annoyed a lobby of friends (not my friends) yesterday by ignoring instruction. I wonder if a whole group of people all reporting at once triggers a sony code of conduct, perhaps a league/group can try in on a fellow victim to test out!

This is all very coy. Could you post a screenshot of the email (with your address and PSN username blanked)? It's really difficult to know what's going on otherwise.

I am not sure whats been deleted from my single colour livery content if anything. I will have another look. I wonder if uploaded from Playstation Network to GT7 can mean anything else apart from paint colour on a car?

Just had a look at my content my colours are not missing. I am believe its from being reported yesterday from a lobby.
I dont have any decals or livery downloaded/copied etc. Not much I can learn without more detail from Sony. I would expect this to be quite a common thing to happen? Just a first time for me.

Just had a look at my content my colours are not missing. I am believe its from being reported yesterday from a lobby.
I dont have any decals or livery downloaded/copied etc. Not much I can learn without more detail from Sony. I would expect this to be quite a common thing to happen? Just a first time for me.

In this context content isn't just liveries/decals, etc uploaded in the game but everything including chat messages, I got the same email for a comment calling myself an idiot for a crash in a daily race.

You get this when:

• You upload a decal or livery which breaches the code of conduct, and it is reported
• You type something in a multiplayer race lobby which breaches the code of conduct, and it is reported

If you say you've not done the first and:

I may have annoyed a lobby of friends (not my friends) yesterday

Then it's the second one. Quite what you typed will, I imagine, remain a mystery. However, in future, note that anything you type or send except the pre-set messages can be subject to reporting and subsequent code of conduct warnings.

I may have typed the word "idiot" in chat to no one in particular. Of course I was refering to myself...
I made the mistake of braking at the end of the straight which must have confused the person behind me that that ploughed into the back of me at full speed.
Now I know that if Sony categorises "idiot" as abuse I can avoid such chat instances again. But why must Sony call it uploaded content from playstation network to Gran Turismo 7? Whoever decided to comminicate it like that for Sony is a complete idiot.

If it appears in the game and an end-user has generated it, it's user-generated content (UGC).

And yes, if someone reported it, typing "idiot" would do it. Case closed, I guess.
