URGENT QUESTION

Is there NE way to increase ur car's max speed?

I tried tuning up my car, but all goes up is HP.

I have an evolution IV that has 401hp,

but my max speed stays the same-134.4mph

Is there neway i could increase the max speed of

my car?

RU finding that your redline is jumpy?  Pissed because you dumped all this money to see your HP go up, but not your MPH?

Try a different Transmission.  The racing transmission gives you total adjustment control of the power band, but be carefull or you'll do more harm than good.

I have a Mazda Miata that I just built with only 334HP with a top/max speed of 197 MPH.

OMG YOU NEWBIE!!!!! some of you n00bs really dont know your arse from a hole in the ground! Like he said, buy the full racing trans. then you can set your gears to Wide, to get a higher top end speed, yet lower accel., or vise versa. On another note, i have 350K and just now won the CLK race car, and excited haha., Next im gonna pimp out the Zonda S

buy a racing transmission and then, right before you start a race click on the setting button. look for your transmission settings and change the very bottom setting to wide (high top speed slow accel) or sport (good accel low top speed)

As I mentioned before, BE CAREFULL with the settings.  The last adjustment that's available for your transmission is the safest and easyest adjustment you can make.  The other adjustments for each gear can be tricky to figure out at first.  

My suggestion would be to save your current settings before you start experimenting with detailed adjustments just in case you really freak things out and can't get running the way it was.  8)

I'm a newbie also only 2.2% complete and it's amazing how much you can learn about cars from this game.  And they say that Video Games are only for entertainment...
