US Prologue Demo?

Yeah, I doubt it. PD are definitely milking the game for all it's worth, as evidenced by the mere existence of a "prologue." If they hadn't done this before, I'd be pissed. Who the hell releases 1/5 of a game and charges 40 bucks for it. I guess being #1 has its perks.

Why is '$40 demo' make it into almost every thread? It also seems to be mostly Americans too, I don't remember these complaints during GT4P except the other Americans complain Sony are not releasing it in the US...... Wonder why.

Remember, NO ONE is forcing you guys to buy it.....

Ha Ha, well I am not complaining. I rather pay 40 dollars to have something then nothing and wait for FULL release. That way I can satisfy my cravings.

I think it's good that PD are releasing a little something so that all the GT feinds can get their fix. However, it's also blatantly obvious that PD release "prologues" to rake in more money off the franchise. They know everyone who buys it will also buy the full game, so why not give everyone a sneak peek at the full version for 40 bucks. What if Microsoft released a "Halo prologue" with 1/5 of the online maps and guns? I'm sure a lot of gamers and critics would be scratching their heads saying WTF. Personally, I'll save myself $40 by not buying the prologue and just get Grid, or some other racing game to hold me over till the full GT comes out. Just my $.02

Your analogy does not work due to the fact that Microsoft did in fact release a Halo 3 beta, but it was provided free with the purchase of Crackdown.

I bought the JPN version of Prologue. I love it. I'm glad they released it. GT5 is so damned hard with pro physics that you really need the time to focus on just a few cars and tracks while building your driving technique.

This game is worth every single penny. I'm als going to buy the US Prologue and the final GT5. Fantastic game.

I have the JPN GT5P and I will buy the EU GT5P just for the F40.
It's one of the coolest cars ever built imho.

I am also getting annoyed at this 40$ demo thing, here in Britain i'm getting it for 17 Pounds, and thats a third of the price of a 50 Pound full game, and this game is just as good as any of those, And just remeber:

You don't have to buy it. lol

Well, it isn't a Demo, It's a Beta Tester with a whole lot more than a demo would give you. In Some instances, much more than a whole full game release ;)
