USA based YouTubers: Need tax info

Anyone on here have a YouTube channel that they collect ad income from Google? I want to start getting things together to start a channel and although I don't expect to make very much, I don't know much about having to file income tax on the earnings. Any sites that are a wealth of info?

Dont you have to give google your tax file number or what ever you use in the US so the IRS knows it as a form of income.

I have a partnership with GTChannel you won't be making much money slwhen you start. I have 105subs, and almost 9,000video views with ads enabled that equals to not even a dollar. Lol. But for GTChannel you need to fill out your tax info etc. which I never did. Woops might as well google it Jason.

I have almost 80,000 collective views and Google still hasn't cut me a check. Don't worry about it until you start getting paid.

Isn't it about $1 per 10k views when you first start? They used to pay out when you reach $50 and just before I reached it they changed it to $100
