For minimum loading times and a more immersive gameplay get yourself a solid state drive (SSD) and download from the PSN so that the games runs entirely from the SSD. This will reduce loading times and remove some all together resulting in an improved experience. This simple mod makes the ps3 run quieter, more economically and eliminates stress on the disc drive. This mod does not improve frame rate or screen tearing but does reduce texture popping.

To include the pre order bonus? bit late now but the psn version comes with that (not now though) if it really bothers you like it did me, sell your retail copy and download the psn. It cost me £70 for it in the long run rather than £60 but its totally worth it.
