Amazing! What a great effort and what a great result. I am truly amazed by this magazine.

Kudos to all who contributed!! 👍👍

Just a note to offer my services. I'm in advertising and have written, designed and proof-read national press advertisments for some big clients (Red Bull, football clubs etc) so if you need my input, just ask.

The post just went up.

Schwadegan, I've placed a copy of the PDF file on GTPlanet's content delivery servers. At 15 MB, it may have burned through your Dropbox's public bandwidth allowance quickly, so this will ensure your account does not get suspended now that it's featured on the blog (yeah, it looks like it burned through the first GB in 10 minutes). I suggest you update the download link in your OP to http://bit.ly/gtlife_14-02-2011 to take advantage of this as well. Live download statistics for the link can be viewed here.

Very nice work, guys! 👍

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it mate! 👍
I've added your download link to my posts now also.

Great job guys! it's amazing to see how much joy, passion and creativity GT5 has brought to so many people. With your magazine as a prime example of that.

On behalf of everyone who made the magazine real, I thank you! :)

Great work to everyone who has contributed to this! Just saw the post Jordan put on the main site, and I must say I'm really impressed by the true professionalism that I see!

To get more publicity, if that's something that you "may" be considering, here are a few things that just popped into my head:

1. Start posting on other GT Related forums! Not only does this further expose the "GT Lifestyle", but also opens up new avenues for expanding the magazine!

2. See about interviewing some of the top drivers on all the top respected GT related forums! Talk to them about their love of GT and how they've been able to take their driving to such heights that other 'every day gamers' often aspire to and include those in the magazine!

3. Get in touch with the top tuners and get their insights into their love of GT and why they do what they do and include that as well in the magazine!

I'm sure I could think of a few more things to make the magazine even more interesting to all of us who love the game, but for now, these are the thoughts that I instantly thought about when I finished going through the magazine!
Thanks for giving us feedback, that is what makes us improve and develop GTlife.

1. Maybe sometime in the future, but gtplanet will always be the foundation of the magazine while discussing new articles and improvements etc. In the meantime you are free to spread the word yourself! ;)

2. This is a good idea, and something I'd love to do - involving the community aspect a bit more in the future that is.

3. There is an interview with RKM Motorsports in this the first magazine. In the future there will surely be lots of different interviews. :)

Alright cool. I suppose you're familiar with InDesign then? I might need some help with the layout in the future. In that case you'd receive a templete layout to work from. Let me know what you think, and I'd also love to see some of the things you've done in the past :)

Yay! News Post! Great Day in GTlife's short history. So Schwaney, whens the next article's ETA?

I haven't got any new articles sent in yet. Though I have a few articles that didn't make it for the first magazine, it's not possible to estimate a new release date at this point.

Can you type it up on word and send the pics separetely?

Photos must be sent in separately as a .zip file. Images in a word document are worthless due to their resolution.

I thought it would cool to do an article about making movies using the Replay Theater. How do I present my article? Do I include photos separate from the text and your group puts it all together or do I merge the art and the text like your finished articles?

Read the first post in this thread, there are some info about the process. Text and images should be sent in separately from each other and then I'll put them together in the magazine.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

Congratulations guys!!! I'll print and show my friends. I'm a go kart driver and I believe that a lot of friends won't believe this was all made in GT5's life!

Good job!!!

Awesome! Send us some pictures of you while reading the printed magazine if you want, it'd be cool too see how people read it. :)

If I may add a suggestion, I think I could do a column on something like the current online racing scene or something like that, or I could do individual articles, PM me to see what you think, or just respond on here. BTW awesome first issue.

At the moment individual articles are preferred. Write a story and send my way, and I'll give you some feedback.

Question.
Track/circuit review?
I'll gladly step in if i get the premission. :D

Yes please! That would mix things up a bit, but you might want to think of it as an analysis of sort instead of review? 👍

Analysis?
You mean?

Like things like where the optimal racing line is, apex points and places most suitable for takeovers instead of writing mostly about your personal thoughts about the track (even if you still can do that :)).

I'll give it a try. :D
Guess i need to use two player mode. :P
My young bro and i will do this analysis.

LOL Europa i've sent in article and apparently according to lenny it Might be in a issue :D i hope so i spent at least 15 times trying to get a perfect lap of the 'Ring' just so i can fully say how good the car is going round it

Just a bit of an idea, how about a section called Drives, where people could write a 1 page review with a single picture and te people how well it drives, how good the model is and include some stats? This would work alot better if there was DLC, or we could include reviews of tuned cars, reviewing the tune.

Your article was rather short, but I'll make it work.

Are you still going to advertise my Top GTear series? :)

Link in sig

Yeah I might do that, considering I've already promised to advertise an other racing club. Do you want to make the ad yourself? (one page size A4) Give it a go, if it doesn't work out I can help you, as long as you use photoshop that is.

I'll save this idea for future use then! 👍
