Amazing issue, even better than the first. Alert jordan and put this up the front page. I hope your work and the contributions of guys here get the recognition it deserves:tup:👍

Wow, great to see the second issue available, the hard work is appreciated...

However, I'm unable to access this from the provided links - can we get a 'download.gtpla.net' link simlar to the first issue?

Just read issue 2 and re-read issue 1 again. Love the stuff, it's like Pedal of Choice from the GT5P days but with an uber profession edge that makes me feel like I am reading Top Gear magazine.

I will be thinking of something to write an article on at some point as I would love to get involved with this in the near future.

Keep up the good work all who are involved.

Thanks for all the kind words lads :)👍

I'm awaiting response from Jordan about mirroring the file at the gtplanet server, just as Daverytimes suggested. Meanwhile, the links provided will have to do.
I've corrected the second link and made sure they all work properly. Please do try them again.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this second edition of the magazine to Gran Turismo readers. I am very pleased to see an article on building one's own race cockpit.

I hope to contribute an article for either Issue 3 or more likely Issue 4.

Well done Schwadegan for again bringing this all together. A round of applause!

Do it! If by "gtplanet server" you're speaking about the front page of GTPlanet, then dooooo iiiiiiit!
Jordan, don't resist the temptation. haha

Currently updating the links to a newer version of the magazine that contains a couple of minor corrections, please stand by while I fix this. It shouldn't be long.

Update complete.

👍 Awesome!!! Thanks all who worked so hard on this!!!

Schwadie, how many more issues worth of material have they sent you up to now? :)

Uhm, I don't know for sure but I've talked to some new people who allegedly will provide with some potentially awesome articles in the future and then I have a couple of very minor leftover articles and one pretty big ;)

I'd say I have finished material for about 20% of a full magazine in store at the moment, could be less though.

I loved the article on the Fiat. Classic stuff.

That article represented why I love Gran Turismo. Sure, I could spend 200k credits on a monster, but why? Taking a daily driver to the max is what GT is all about!

I'm happy to see so many of you like what we have put together

As a little bit of extra treat, I've done a little 'something something' for you people.
Now, be advised this is hosted by my Dropbox and when it gets enough traffic it will break down - no doubt, I just don't know how long it's going to take.
I've tried to keep the size of the files to an absolute minimum, hence some pixelization on the images, to lower the amount of traffic being used.

I hereby welcome you to take a peek at the GTlife website, where hopefully I'll be able to host the entire collection of magazines in one place for you guys :)

Let me know when my Dropbox reaches critical mass :dopey:

👍 Great! Let me know if you need help with the new issue - proofreading and such!

K.

I would help with proofreading but my spelling sucks. I just wanted to ask if anyone has done a artilc on the Group B rally cars as I would love to do one.Feel free to PM me if you do not want to answer in public. But I'll get started on it anyway.

Not that I'm aware of, no. :)

Fantastic work and a great read.
One suggestion, just an opinion, but on your next car vs car, could you use the stock tires that come with the cars when you buy them which is usually sport hard. I've found they usually give you th closest times to the actual hot lap times you can find on youtube.

Keep up the great work. Hope PD notices and gives all you guys some nifty gifts.

I'll make sure to pass that on to those who wish to write car vs. car articles in the future. Thanks for the tip! 👍

Haha, one can only hope :dopey:

Once again, great work Schwadegan, and everyone involved! 👍 As you've noted, notice of issue #2 has been posted on the blog.

A few notes: When linking to the PDF file hosted on my servers, please use the bit.ly link (bit.ly/GTlife_12-06-2011) instead of directly linking to download.gtpla.net. This will ensure the public download statistics for the file remain accurate. Also, to editors and proofreaders in the future: please write the site's name as "GTPlanet", without any spaces - that's just a small pet peeve of mine. Thanks! :)
