Using a GoPro for photography?

Has anyone used one for actual photos?

There's a GoPro HD Hero 2 for sale at sams for $200 with the BacPac viewer and some other stuff. My question is, even though it's 11mp and can take some good photos, can you slow the shutter speed for Rig shots for cars? Or would it even be a decent camera to use for odd/risky shots where I didn't want to risk my Nikon?

For crazier setups, I wouldn't mind. It's lightweight and durable, otherwise I'd use my DSLR.


Risky shooting would be okay with a GoPro. You pervert.
