Using ballast to get car back to stock

I have a 2017 NSX that I did a couple weight reductions to and am curious if the ballast will basically make it the same as stock. When I set the ballast to the max of 200, the PP is the exact same as the stock NSX. But it shows the weight as like 500 lbs lighter than the weight listed for one at the dealership, so it doesn't make sense why the PP is the same then. Anyone know what's going on with that?

Ballast is there so you can get it in a weight restriction, or performance tuning. However, but what it does do, it allows you to position the weight where you need it e.g for an MR car that is oversteering adding 75kg to the front wheels counteracts the weight of the rear engine and makes the car drivable. Hope this helps
