Using Fanatec or G27 pedals with 360 wireless wheel

I'm wondering if this is possible using the Fanatec G27/XB360 converter cable. Does it work the other way around allowing for different pedal sets to be used with the Microsoft wheel?

Anyone have a pic of the fanatec cable showing the converter connectors? :)

It is a PS2 to DB9 adapter.

The G25/27 uses a DB9 to conenct to the G25/27 pedals. The Fanatec uses a PS2 conneciotn.

Right, but the xbox uses an RJ11. On fanatecs site it says the cable allows you to use either G25/27 or Xbox pedals with their wheels.

Hmmm...wonder if something like this will work at least to connect the G25/27 pedals to the xbox wheel.

Just found a DB9 to RJ11 cable on ebay. Hopefully that'll allow me to use my G25 pedals on my Xbox wheel. :)

I'm just not ready to pull the trigger on a Fanatec GT2 wheel yet...to many mixed reviews. Either the user loves it or hates it. At least this will make swapping things on my rig a lot easier...only have to detach the wheels depending on if I'm feeling GT or Forza.

This I doubt. I dont believe there are any Logiitech wheel devices the XBox 360 likes to work with, so detecting the Logitech wheels that don't have the appropriate hardware signature may be the issue.

Yes it is possible. There is a lot of information on the internet about how to convert the pedal's plug.

Google: G25 plug pinout

Interesting, but the reason I tossed the M$ wheel in the trash was not the pedals, it was the rubbish wheel itself. But nice to know that it is the wheel part of the controller that carries the hardware tag and not the peripheral.
