If i go to the Post official to pick a package for my mom would they ask for my ID or just hers? since the package is in her name?

You mean to pick up a package at the USPS office? They would probably ask for your mom's ID since it's her package with only her name on it. Unless your mom told USPS that you're able to pick it up yourself.

It will probably come down to the strictness of the person behind the counter.

I used to pick up so many deliveries from the same two people they don't even require my ID anymore. That being said, some may allow you to pick it up assuming you have the same address, some won't.

Do you live at the same place? If so you providing an ID with the same address should suffice. Also if you got a tracking number on it, that would be good to have with you as well.

Most times it's up the counter person.
