How to bypass the intro video


Here is how to bypass the intro video.

Open the UT2004.ini it´s in the UT2004\System folder (BE SURE TO BACK IT UP FIRST!)

Another program you could check out is EndItAll. You can use it to shut down everything non essential to run Windows before you play UT2k4 so you get the most performance possible.

Trust me, all of this works. I've got my map loading times down from sometimes over a minute to under 15 seconds using all those tips.

Good list. My game runs just fine right now so I'm not going to mess with it.

Strange.

Before I tweaked everything, it took nearly a minute to load most maps and sometimes much longer to load the bigger maps.

Well, I don't play UT2004, but that Enditall program is awesome!

Thanks, ITR. My memory usage dropped from 135mb to 96mb!
