I thought of this during Bathurst. How about a time trial made to challenge the best lap times of the V8 Supercars season, but using the older cars for a extra challenge!

Do people still play this game? No offence, but this game was incredibly arcadey, a brilliant cross between sim and arcade I must say, it was plenty of fun, but when your best lap time at Bathurst is in the low 1'40s....yeah you know something's up.

I believe it's any platform that uses the same Physics engine, so PC, Consoles and the PSP allow it, but not the DS or Mobile Phone.

Count me in - is it a normal time trial, but we're going against the IRL guys as well?

Basically, Maybe a day after a race in the V8 Supercars calendar, I post the starting thread of the course and the race's best time, and everyone races the same track in time trial and try to beat it.

I haven't figured this out though. Should I make it you win points for being faster than the time, and lose points being slower than the best real lap time, OR make it points for how fast you are. Like 1st, 10, 2nd, 8 etc etc?

Try pro sim handling. That brought my Bathurst times a lot closer to the real deal. Getting to about 2:03. A little closer to Murph's Lap of the Gods
