Alright, if we get 8-10 cars on race day we'll do this. We'll try running this again on 7/23 as we didn't get enough people the first time around to make it worth while.

Time:

• Saturday, July 23rd 2011
• 7:00pm Eastern USA
• 9:00am Australian (depending on location)
• Laps to be determined before race. (roughly 35 minutes)

Car:

• Falcon XR8 Race Car '00

Important Stuff:

• Car is to remain 100% original
• Racing Hard tires
• All Aids OFF (except ABS)
• Off track grip on REAL
• Tire wear/fuel consumption ON
• Mandatory Mid-race pit stop

Just a little something to fuel the fire:

My iRacing GTPlanet Ford Falcon, just finished!

Perhaps there may be more interest if there is a Holden as well as the Ford. I've tested a Commodore tuned to similar specs to the Falcon, but it is three seconds off the pace around Monza. However I am terrible at tuning and a proper tuning garage will do a much better job.

On another note this is somewhat similar to an offline race series I ran back in the GT4 days, but the Camaro Race Car had to be used as a substitute to the Holden.

A better substitute performance wise would be the Lexus ISF Racing Concept, both have a great V8 soundtrack, same weight, similar handeling and can easily be equalized performance wise!

If it was a racing series, maybe. This is just a one-time spot race. We'll just leave it as is for now, and if there's not enough interest I'll just cancel it.

I want to participate in this but I will be at Mid-Ohio for the Vintage Motorcycle Days. I have a Falcon that I need a reason to drive, big fan of the Supercars. I won't be back till Sunday late afternoon though. If you do another one or reschedule let me know!
