V8 Supercars licence

I have been thinking since the announcement of nascar and wrc that we may see some more licensed motorsports, I just wanted to throw that out there , if we look back 6 months or so ago when we learned that there was no Nascar this year from EA, now "its not in the game" and gt5 will have it. Also we can do the same with wrc we haven't seen anything from codies except Dirt which was fun now out of the blue its in gt5. Now with F1 we wont see anything from codies till next year, could the same be true for the F1 license as with nascar its only coming this year to the wii only, maybe sony did a deal with polyphony for the last couple of seasons F1 license as they didn't release a follow up to the F1 championship game.
I then thought V8 supercars could be the same as in a old interview Kazunori did mention of Bathurst http://blogs.theage.com.au/screenplay/archives//003273.html and no sign of any V8 supercars game apart from the V8 a superstars game which i thought may of had it

yes but what happen to the license for the last 2 years I guess they could model the cars from those seasons but not run as a official championship

Thanks for that interview link, I don't remember reading it before but I do remember reading years ago that PD were at Bathurst and it is where they got data from the FPV's that were featured in GT4.Bathurst is my biggest track wish

As for V8 Supercars it is a possibility, they would only have to model a couple cars and offer different liveries much like they're doing in NASCAR

yeah i guess I would be happy with one car from ford and holden and just do time trial around Bathurst to get close to Murphs lap record, although going around in godzilla sounds fun too maybe with a weather change late in the day pit in when the safety car comes out, change to wets and turn the lights on charge home to glory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sDDsMIyDiw
