Does anyone here do vector work? I know close to NOTHING about it, so I'd really appreciate any help. I guess the first thing I should find out is what the best programs and tutorials are to use. People have suggested I use Photoshop, Illustrator, or Inkscape. Any advice?

We had quite an active vector community a few years ago with great artists such as donbenni (who made several very useful tutorials for tooning/vectoring in Photoshop, check his deviantart), under18carbon, stumpydino and suzq. Photoshop isn't really a vector program but there is a way to re-create the scalability they possess (again, donbenni did a great tut on that). Personally I use Illutstrator as I feel that you can manipulate paths easier.

I make a bunch of Vexels all the time and everyone thinks it's a vector

Illustrator's the way to go because of that nature of Vectors, but I personally work so much faster on Photoshop so I just stick with Vexels...

And yes the Vector thread went dead for a few years now :(

I am a graphic designer and use mostly vector art. Gotta let me know what you are trying to do, so I can recommend you something or assist with any advice.
