Veyron Incident Now Alleged to be an Insurance Scam

I remember this, I hope that man loses that case. He doesn't deserve that 2 million insurance money. Now to sit, and wait too see what happens. 👎

What a waste. Luckily, some confused car fans just so happened to catch this travesty on videotape, and for that, we thank you.
 
For those of you who didn't read the article, or if it isn't even mentioned in the article, he claimed to have droppd his phone on the passenger side floor and he was reaching over to get it.
 
This guy is a idiot. He left the car running for 15 minutes because he was "being bitten by mosquitoes"? I'd think my million dollar car would be more important than mosquitoes.
 
That isn't even a practical way to commit insurace fraud. I mean, stage the robbery of the car or something, don't drive it into a lake and risk killing yourself...

A few months before that happened I was in Galveston and saw that Veyron. He had it parked in a terrible neighborhood. Thought it was funny after I heard about the crash.
 
His argument is proof it was proof enough it was scam. Why the hell would you swerve for a pelican in that car. You'd do damage of course, but you wouldn't do as much damage as you would doing what he did. And for the phone, you'd pull over.

The pelican excuse was probably dismissed when video proof showed up. :lol: I guess he changed to the cellphone thing? :rolleyes: Some people...
 
Anyone who would consider ruining a beautiful Veyron for financial gain should be shot at dawn.

As much as a don't like Bugatti (PLEASE don't flame me), I have to say that the whole thing looks fake, and like it's been said, a waste of 2 million. The moron deserved to lose it though

I thought it was fake too, because seeing how he was going straight for a good while and then coincidentally turning at the best possible moment to fall into the lake seemed kinda fishy to me.
