Video card Q....

Hey, I just got a new video card (and PC, for that matter ;) ). I planned on using the S-Video connector and my TV as the display.

Trouble is, the S-Vid connector on the card is different from any s-vid connector I've seen. It has a six pin din, as opposed to four. Is there a special adaptor I have to use? Anyone else run into this?

TIA

Are you by chance using an ATI-All in wonder card?

If you are, it should have come with an adapter that splits that six prong, into the s video, sound, and regular yellow video connector.

It is likewise for other products.

Nope, it's a Visiontek GeForce2 Ti. I found the adapter you are talking about online. Only thing is, they want $20 for it! :irked: I don't know where else I would get the adapter, so I guess I'm stuck.

I'll go check ATI's site. Thanks for the reply. :)

It may be the same it may not... Mine is n 8 prong

in formation like this:

Your card should have come with this cable, you shouldn't have to buy it.
