Video editing software?

Hey im new here couldnt find anything by searching but i just want to know what software you guys use 2 edit ur videos. When i say edit i mean to put them together and add music and text on screen etc. I would be using mpeg video files if that any help.

Also for capturing videos if possible could someone post a link 4 the new version of winfast FX.

Keep in mind you're in a slower forum...GT3 is not GT4. Think 6 views is bad? Try 20. I'm not savvy on vids, so you might wanna do a search or visit the GT4 forum where someone will answer your question in 30 seconds. Beware, tho...if you go there and ask this same question you might get flamed for "not using the search".

For simple mix and cut, virtual dub is good. use newest Xvid codec or Microsoft mpeg4v3. use subs plugin for text. Output in avi though.

Alright thanks for the reply guys. I asked on another forum as well and they suggested and gave a link 4 ulead video studio 10.
