Ferrari recently launched a 'Ferrari California Configurator' site. The site lets you customize colors, wheels, etc of the California.

What I noticed is they have a video section called "virtual test drive". Just overlap your mouse over the configurator button and you can view "virtual test drive".

The video is provided by Gran Turismo, and includes footages of different tracks not seen in Prologue.

www.ferraricalifornia.com

Check it out.

That video on that site is where we first saw the Ferrari Califoria just a few days after E3 which was back in mid July. Since then that video has been availible on GTTV. :)

I don't know if you noticed but in the nurburgring the california has its roof up like a coupe which means that you will be able to choose if you like your roof up and down like you did in the GT4. It may also be linked with the weather in some occasions.

I don't remember ever having the option to choose top up or top down in previous GT iterations. I remember that you could buy a convertible, and then in the race, the top would automatically be put up, and then there were certain cars that would always be top down...

Did I miss something?!

There was an option for one of the ARCADE races. With ROOF UP, you could race with 5 other cars, with down, with only one.. the power of PS2 ;)

In this game every car can have ROOF down and still race against 15 cars. Playstation and GT evolved so much :D

Alright, well it's been awhile since I've played GT4 so I'll have to check it out...

Question though....is there a way to choose top up or top down in GT5p? The way you stated your last sentence sounds like you can...or are you just talking about cars that already have their top down automatically like the California?
