Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a real-time strategy computer game of the Command & Conquer franchise, produced by Westwood Studios and released by Virgin Interactive in 1996. The second game to bear the "C&C" title, Red Alert is the prequel to the original Command & Conquer of 1995, and takes place in the early history of the alternate universe of Command & Conquer when Allied Forces battle an aggressive Soviet Union for control over the European mainland. It was initially available for PC (MS-DOS & Windows 95 versions included in one package), and was subsequently ported to PlayStation. The PlayStation version was also re-released as a download for PSP and PS3. On August 31, 2008, EA officially rendered Command & Conquer: Red Alert freeware.

Never played the game but, I think my big brother has this game still, and I used to watch him play it and a few other games just like this. I did vote Good.

Good, I loved this game personally as it was my first real RTS experience, however that doesn't make it a stand out title to me.

Loved C&C Red Alert. I love all the C&C games, for some reason Tiberian Sun, and Tiberian Sun: Firestorm more than the rest of them. I haven't played any since Red Alert: 2, which I didn't really like that much. However I spent hours upon hours playing this and all the little add-ons.
