Video of RX-7 LM Stock HP drifting and Winning

IM me at BreakerOhio for my video of my RX-7 LM Race Car (Stock HP, no upgrades except slicks) drifting around deep forest and winning agaist other LM Race Cars in the Amataur Dream Car race.

The file is mpg and its 27 megs.
I'm working on a wmv version that should be like 5 megs.

I'm retorting to the fact that you are using all CAPS thus conveying the message that you are speaking aggressively.

I don't see why this would be pointless. This is the drifter forum and from my observations there are lots of other threads out there doing the exact same thing. I am in this forum and posting my thread because I want to share and collaborate with other players to get feedback, as does everyone else’s threads out there.

You average 6.47 posts per day <-- obtained from your member info, as opposed to my 0.30 posts per day. Are all your threads necessarily "point-full"? as opposed to pointless? I doubt it.

If you don't like my thread, then don't read it. I don't want to hear your thoughts that come with no backup. Explain to me why this is pointless?

Since I’ve posted many people have IM’d me wanting to download my video, so it serves a purpose, therefore it WAS NOT POINTLESS.

VERY well-spoken. I think BreakerOhio was trying to make the idea clear that drifting CAN be faster that grip in some cases.
ANYWAY, Breaker, what cars did you race? Im curious

I would say the competition was pretty good.

On the side note:
If you select Drift Style and Hard in Arcade mode of the S Class arcade cars, that is a challenge. For me to keep up I have to utilize real driving techniques like drafting while I drift around corners and overtake them. Play Midfield, if you are a good drifter you can overtake the cars while drifting on the second big corner just after you go through the tunnel.

Try that for a challange. Note: I am aware of the proffessional mode, but I'm talking about using the drift option rather than the grip option when u pick your S class car in arcade mode and I've found this to be pretty competitive without having to pit stop for a tire change.

Also, I wanted to add this because some others didn't know it was possible. Go into your options and turn off ASM and TCS as needed and it will affect the arcade cars. You'll want to turn off ASM if you plan on drifting the Arcade cars, thats pretty much all you have control over for custimizing them since they are not your own garage cars.

Professional mode is easier than hard cuz everyone else has to change their tires while u don't. I'm usually up at least 10 seconds over teh 2nd place just cuz of that fact

i believe it is possible to win with a speedster in the am dream car race... I may be mistaken, but i have won in the prof mr races, na races, am gt champs, and all Japanese with the speedster at 350-375ish hp... if you can take a car that has no df and beat race cars then you deserve praise... Still its a great achievment...try some other cars... challenge yourself...(of course in the prof league mr races i couldnt beat hte gt40 without him pitting for at least 13 seconds)

tokyo drifta... just as a word of warning... i do not think that it is much appreciated when you do what you have done (responding to each and every post for over a page) that could be considered spamming....

Breaker, have you seen my RX-7 LM vids? I have a few on my website of me passing cars like the GT-One and R390 on Hard in arcade. I did have to use drafting to pass the R390 but I did gain ground on the corner. Just not enough ground. =)
