As a student of GME's very own at the 3k i am now becoming better at overall drag racing, and would like to offer possibly one day a week for the next 4 weeks an open room to all GTP drag racers who want to LEARN how to tune for drag racing. (3k or 1/4)
in the recent past many australians and new zealanders have asked me or suggested that i lead a team. but since ive basically moved on from 1/4 there doesnt really seem any point.
i will not give my own tunes nor anyone elses, but i will direct you on where you need to improve, this shows me you want to give it a go and learn and not mooch.
post here if interested in coming along or helping out.
i specialise in hondas for 1/4 mile and mid to high power FR cars on the 3k, but have experience in other fields of 1/4 and 3k.
This is mainly set out for Australian tuners but if there is space, foreigners are more than welcome (so long as they can understand and speak english). any BS will cause a kick in the room so others can join instead.
yes i know some of you have issues with GME since they uncovered the skid recovery trick in 1/4 mile tests, but they had done a lot for the drag community back in the day, and i would like to keep drag racing alive in aus. (all the pros have moved on and the new guys dont know how to tune and just bring out AWD nissans )
edit: credit to tastim2 for giving me the idea
